I am new to healthcare, but I have been in a Customer Relations role for over 10 years.
My dad has had health issues most of my life. I have seen how people in the health industry have impacted his experiences. Both negatively and positively.
I want to be able to create a good experience for those who need a little positivity in a rather difficult situation.
I love that I have the opportunity to help guide people with whatever they need. And being able to do it with kindness, care, and positivity is something I am passionate about.
I do care deeply about how I can help and will do the best I can to help get the answers you need.
I am a creative individual and have been pursuing photography as a soul project for close to 10 years.
When not at work, I am usually hiking, spending time with my pup, or engaged in lifestyle/wedding photography on the side.

Edward grew up in urban Southern California and has recently relocated to the green and beautiful Pacific Northwest. As a jack of all trades and a lover of cats, Edward Caplan’s primary responsibility as the Practitioner Education Specialist is to ensure every practitioner and patient has a positive and personalized customer onboarding experience.
Edward has 2 cats, Madison and Matza, and regards them as his children. In his spare time, Edward volunteers his time at local animal shelters and fosters cats whenever possible. As a film buff and lover of sports, he spends most of his time at home enjoying his favorite shows and movies or is out rooting on the home team at the nearest sporting venue.
Edward's motto to live by is, “Everything happens for a reason.”
Control what you can.
Accept what you can’t.

I love the privacy and peace that living in a small town affords.
Cats! Cats! Cats! I am also a film buff.
While my personal story doesn’t include cancer, I do understand the confusion and worry that negative medical diagnoses can have on patients and their families. My mother, after having several heart attacks, had to have a heart transplant in order to save her life. I remember speaking with specialists and doctors who were trying their best to tell me what was happening and what needed to occur but I didn’t understand and felt very much powerless and in the dark.
When I found out that RGCC’s goal is to provide personalized and empathetic care for doctors and patients alike, I immediately knew this was a company I needed to be a part of. At the end of the day, I want to ensure that anyone working with RGCC wil feel comfortable, empowered, and are able to get all their questions answered in a professional, yet personable and caring manner.
I have competed at the highest level of competition in several strategy card games including Magic the Gathering, Hearthstone, and Pokemon alike.

In 2004, genetics pioneer Dr. Ioannis Papasotiriou founded RGCC with a steadfast commitment to personalized cancer care. Driven by his unwavering belief in the power of a patient's genes, Dr. Papasotiriou has passionately refused to access external funding that could compromise his vision and commitment to a science-driven cancer solution.

“If you bring in investors, they want profitability - as quickly as possible - they don’t care about the outcome.
For us, our interest is what we could do better than the protocols available in the clinical practice, so we can create better treatments, no matter whether we use current drugs or develop new treatments.
We reinvest 85% of our income directly into further research which we wouldn’t be able to do if we brought in external investors.”

Dr. Miven Donato brings a passion and wide-reaching educational background to RGCC’s North America based Clinical Support Team. Divinely guided to be a “doctor of the future” specializing in a whole person approach to care, coupled with his educational and clinical experience in Medical Technology (MT), Clinical Laboratory Science, Human Physical Performance, Physical Therapy (DPT), structural integrity and nutritional therapy, Chiropractic (DC), and specializing in dietary/nutritional therapy for cancer care as a Certified Gerson Practitioner and Trainer, makes him an exceptional asset to the RGCC NA team. His clinical background is rivaled only by his clinical experience working with patients in over 200 countries around the world.
Joining the RGCC practitioner community in 2018, Dr. Miven quickly became one of RGCC’s VIP practitioners interpreting several hundred tests along with creating personalized protocols with successful outcomes for his patients. His personal success is coupled with his enthusiasm for helping other colleagues learn the RGCC system to bring successful treatment outcomes for their patients too.

He joined the North America Clinical Advisory team in January 2022 and shares his extensive knowledge with new practitioners as a trainer in RGCC College and consultation support for the active practitioner community.
He is excited about the future of cancer care with RGCC as it continues to evolve in science and technology. He is eager to share his wisdom and proficiency with other practitioners wanting to bring RGCC testing into their practice.
I have been working as a holistic integrative nutritional oncology consultant since 2012 (10+ years). I am also a clinical instructor for the Gerson Institute since 2012. From 2001 to 2013, I was working in the field of orthopedic chiropractic and orthopedic physical therapy, and from 1991 to 2001 in the field of orthopedic physical therapy (without chiropractic). From 1987 to 1992, I worked as a clinical laboratory technologist in a community hospital laboratory.
Holistic integrative nutritional oncology is the field I gravitated to because it addresses the entire person’s oncology care. I have always been a natural holistic health advocate. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the US and the challenge in bringing a person from a diseased state to a healthy state led me to this field. Chiropractic consists of both structural body health and nutritional/mental health. I felt more mentally challenged and found it very rewarding as I focused more of my work in nutritional/mental health. So it naturally progressed and I ended up enjoying my work in oncology care. In early 2018, I learned about RGCC testing and came onboard to become a RGCC practitioner. Since then I have done several thousand testing for my clients.
Being both a clinician and instructor (for both RGCC International and Gerson Institute), I love how the latest science in molecular oncology, traditional oncology, holistic nutritional oncology all blend together to encompass a comprehensive oncology service that goes beyond traditional ideology.
Each person’s cancer condition is as unique as a fingerprint. So, each person should receive a unique, personalized cancer care.
I am health enthusiast.
Running, weight lifting, nature hikes, traveling, reading about technology breakthroughs and the latest computer science.
I was born in a small town, Cagayan de oro, Philippines, but spent most of my growing up years in Singapore before going abroad to the US to start my college education in 1982.
I live in Tennessee. Married. We have a daughter who is a university student.

Kristen completed her Nurse Practitioner training with a deep commitment to whole-person, wellness-focused care. By combining both traditional and integrative approaches, Kristen and her colleagues are seeing widespread success with Q-Restrain in both adult and pediatric patients and are putting together the pieces to improve outcomes and find healing for entire families. I wanted a different model of providing care. I wanted to partner with patients, and think outside of the box, instead of just following an algorithm.
I love validating and empowering patients to be active participants in their health. I love it when a patient has researched and comes in with ideas and theories, and we can brainstorm together. I love it when we can find a reason for their symptoms, especially for the ones that have spent years hearing that their labs are “normal”.

I think everyone has a “cancer story”. And I have a few…. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was a child. She was fortunate enough to catch it early, but I remember feeling so scared for her.
Three of my grandparents have battled cancer as well (and 2 of them lost their lives to it), and most recently my father in law battled Lymphoma.
Seeing those you love most in life battle such an awful disease makes you want to get involved - in any way possible. When the opportunity to join the team at RGCC presented itself, it was a no-brainer for me.

Mercedes Cruz is the Business & Marketing Manager for RGCC North America. She holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Carlson School of Management.
Growing up in Minneapolis, MN, Mercedes began working at her family's vacuum shop at the age of 7, where she gained hands-on experience in sales, repairs, and business operations, with her mom and brother. After years in the family business, she transitioned into event management and digital marketing, working with over a hundred healthcare professionals.
Her diverse background and proactive & thoughtful nature align seamlessly with her current role at RGCC North America, where she helps shine the spotlight on personalized cancer care.
I live in Los Angeles, and I love that I can go to the beach, go on a hike, and kayak all in one afternoon.
I’m passionate about music. My first drum kit was red, and her name was Lucy! When I’m working, I listen to Alpha Waves/Brain Music playlists. Surprisingly to some, I listen to a lot of Doo-Wop.
Hearing from patients and practitioners of the immense value that RGCC has provided to patients' lives has been eye-opening. Knowing that RGCC looks at each patient on an individual basis to ensure they are receiving the best possible chance in their battle against cancer, is what attracted me to RGCC. My background in marketing and healthcare organically brought me here, and I whole-heartedly believe in RGCC’s mission and team.

I chose a career in event coordination because it allows me to combine my love for organization with my passion for creating memorable experiences. From a young age, I’ve always enjoyed bringing people together—whether it was organizing small gatherings or planning larger events, I found joy in managing the details and seeing everything come together. Over time, I realized that event planning was the perfect fit for my strengths: my attention to detail, my creativity, and my ability to stay calm under pressure.
What I love most about event coordination is the opportunity to bring a concept to life, transforming ideas into unforgettable experiences. Each event presents a unique challenge that requires a balance of creativity, logistics, and coordination. The most fulfilling aspect of my work is the sense of accomplishment that comes when all the pieces come together, and the event runs smoothly, leaving guests engaged. It's this rewarding feeling of creating something impactful that drives my passion for event planning.
One thing I would tell every client is that successful events are built on trust and open communication. While I’m here to manage the details and logistics, it’s essential for clients to share their vision, so I can truly understand their goals and expectations.
I’m an adventurer—when I’m not planning events, you can find me hiking with my dog, Nova, or skiing down the slopes. I love being outdoors and tackling new challenges, whether it’s on the trails or in the event world. Every adventure gives me a fresh perspective and keeps me energized for the next project!
When I’m not at work, I truly enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family. Whether it’s a casual gathering, a weekend hike, or just enjoying a cozy meal together, these moments are my way of recharging. Being surrounded by loved ones reminds me of the importance of connection and balance.

One of the things that drew me to Colorado was the abundance of outdoor activities. Having grown up skiing, I wanted to live closer to the mountains and fully embrace the adventurous lifestyle that Colorado offers.
I have an English Golden Retriever named Nova, who is 4 years old.

I live outside of a small town. I love the open fields and the amazing sunsets. Our little town has a fishing pond, my boys and I like to spend our time when we can.
I am passionate about learning how amazing our bodies are at healing themselves when given the right environment.
I was in construction for 13 years prior and after losing someone very close to me due to cancer and seeing them in their cancer journey along with so many others we meet along the way I could not accept that the only option for people was what we were told was the “gold standard”. My focus really shifted and I had became enthralled with a different approach to healing and soaking in all the information I could with the hopes of being able to pass my knowledge along to others for them to be better informed for their own health needs. When I came across the opportunity to work for RGCC I could not pass it up. It felt like everything I had been doing to gain knowledge eventually lead me to them. What they offer is incredible and something that really can make a difference in someone’s life. To be apart of that is truly a blessing.
I love cooking and have won two competitions for my green chili!

Matt is a graphic designer with a background spanning healthcare, entertainment, and the food & beverage industries. After working at an award-winning advertising agency, he joined RGCC to apply the power of design toward a more meaningful goal: helping shape public understanding and awareness of RGCC’s highly personalized and effective tests and treatments.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys cooking, video games, and music. He’s a die-hard Sacramento Kings fan (Light the Beam!) and spends most of his time at home making collages, playing video games, and hanging out with his cat, and best friend, Obby.

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University’s College of Communication and Fine Arts in 2021. I got my Bachelor of Arts studying graphic design.
I’ve been working as a professional graphic designer for 7 years, with a strong mix of agency and freelance experience across major companies and emerging brands.
I got my creative start making punk music show posters for local bands in 2014. I fell in love with how design could bring people together for a united cause. Now, I’m excited to use that power to champion the effectiveness of RGCC’s tests and treatments.
Bringing other people’s visions to life. I love the challenge of graphic design, ensuring everything is legible, photos look great, and that the message gets across clearly. It’s extremely satisfying for me.
In 2017, I spent a season working at a fish processing plant in Alaska. I’m also one of just 3,500 people worldwide to own an extremely rare Minecraft account. Not for sale!
I often make collages that explore outer space and environmental storytelling. I also play bass guitar and enjoy making music!
Sacramento, California.
Yes, I have one tuxedo cat named Obby! He is my entire world.
